中國(guó)政府對(duì)日本政府“購(gòu)買(mǎi)”釣魚(yú)島的決定做出了堅(jiān)決的回應(yīng)，于周一公布了釣魚(yú)島及其附屬島嶼的領(lǐng)海基點(diǎn)和基線(xiàn)。

Territorial coordinates指“領(lǐng)土坐標(biāo)”，是由base points（基點(diǎn)）連成的baselines（基線(xiàn)）組成的，能精確標(biāo)示國(guó)家邊境。“領(lǐng)?；€(xiàn)”就是territorial sea baseline。

中華人民共和國(guó)領(lǐng)?；€(xiàn)采用直線(xiàn)基線(xiàn)法劃定，由各相鄰基點(diǎn)之間的直線(xiàn)連線(xiàn)組成?；€(xiàn)里面向陸地一側(cè)的水域就是內(nèi)水（internal waters），向海的一側(cè)首先是領(lǐng)海（territorial waters），后面還會(huì)有專(zhuān)屬經(jīng)濟(jì)區(qū)（Exclusive Economic Zone）和大陸架（the Continental Shelf）等各種管轄海域。

同時(shí)，中國(guó)政府還宣布將對(duì)釣魚(yú)島及其附屬島嶼開(kāi)展normalized surveillance and monitoring（常態(tài)化監(jiān)視監(jiān)測(cè)）。
