新能源材料與器件專(zhuān)業(yè)是教育部2010年公布的戰(zhàn)略性新興產(chǎn)業(yè)相關(guān)專(zhuān)業(yè)之一。我校在材料學(xué)科具有優(yōu)勢(shì)地位,是國(guó)家重點(diǎn)學(xué)科,也是首批開(kāi)設(shè)新能源材料與器件本科專(zhuān)業(yè)的高校之一。我校的新能源材料與器件專(zhuān)業(yè)是國(guó)家級(jí)特色專(zhuān)業(yè)。
人類(lèi)進(jìn)入21世紀(jì),對(duì)能源的需求不斷增加。世界經(jīng)濟(jì)的發(fā)展又對(duì)能源提出了更多的需求。發(fā)展綠色新能源材料與器件,是國(guó)民經(jīng)濟(jì)和國(guó)家科技發(fā)展的發(fā)動(dòng)機(jī),也是解決能源與經(jīng)濟(jì)發(fā)展、環(huán)境保護(hù)之間矛盾的最佳途徑之一,現(xiàn)已成為世界快速、穩(wěn)定發(fā)展的高新技術(shù)產(chǎn)業(yè)。
新能源材料是實(shí)現(xiàn)新能源的轉(zhuǎn)化和利用以及發(fā)展新能源技術(shù)的關(guān)鍵材料。該類(lèi)材料包括硅材料、納米材料、介電材料、膜材料、電解質(zhì)材料、儲(chǔ)能材料等。新能源器件是可以直接或經(jīng)轉(zhuǎn)換成人類(lèi)所需的光、電、熱、動(dòng)力等任何形式能量的載能體,主要包括太陽(yáng)能、化學(xué)能、風(fēng)能、核能、生物質(zhì)能等形式的儲(chǔ)能器件。新能源材料與器件的發(fā)展與技術(shù)水平,不僅在國(guó)民經(jīng)濟(jì)和科技發(fā)展中具有重要戰(zhàn)略地位,而且對(duì)國(guó)家安全具有重要的影響力。
近年來(lái),我國(guó)在新能源技術(shù)和產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展方面取得了令世界矚目的成績(jī),并在未來(lái)有巨大的發(fā)展空間,但與之不相適應(yīng)的是新能源、新能源材料相關(guān)專(zhuān)業(yè)人才的缺乏。因此,本專(zhuān)業(yè)以“厚基礎(chǔ)、寬口徑”為學(xué)生培養(yǎng)理念,專(zhuān)業(yè)方向以材料科學(xué)為基礎(chǔ),以半導(dǎo)體材料技術(shù)、化學(xué)電源技術(shù)、太陽(yáng)電池技術(shù)等為特色。本專(zhuān)業(yè)的課程設(shè)置注重基礎(chǔ)理論與專(zhuān)業(yè)知識(shí)結(jié)合、自然科學(xué)知識(shí)教育與文化素質(zhì)教育結(jié)合,理論與實(shí)踐結(jié)合,以拓寬學(xué)生的知識(shí)面,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的實(shí)踐技能與創(chuàng)新能力,培養(yǎng)新能源科學(xué)與技術(shù)發(fā)展所需的合格和創(chuàng)新性人才。
本專(zhuān)業(yè)設(shè)有高等數(shù)學(xué)、大學(xué)物理、無(wú)機(jī)化學(xué)、有機(jī)化學(xué)、物理化學(xué)、化學(xué)工程、機(jī)械工程、電子工程等基礎(chǔ)和技術(shù)基礎(chǔ)課程,還設(shè)有固體物理、半導(dǎo)體物理、物理化學(xué)、材料結(jié)構(gòu)與性能、電化學(xué)基礎(chǔ)及實(shí)驗(yàn)、新能源科學(xué)基礎(chǔ)及實(shí)驗(yàn)、傳輸學(xué)(傳遞過(guò)程原理)、太陽(yáng)能電池材料及器件工藝、先進(jìn)儲(chǔ)能材料及器件工藝、新能源材料與器件實(shí)驗(yàn)等學(xué)位專(zhuān)業(yè)核心課程和實(shí)驗(yàn),以及科學(xué)研究訓(xùn)練、工廠實(shí)習(xí)、畢業(yè)設(shè)計(jì)和畢業(yè)課題研究等實(shí)踐環(huán)節(jié)。畢業(yè)生就業(yè)前景廣闊,深造機(jī)會(huì)多,將面向光伏、化學(xué)電源、能源管理、半導(dǎo)體材料與器件企業(yè)、研究機(jī)構(gòu)和大專(zhuān)院校。
本專(zhuān)業(yè)學(xué)制4年,學(xué)生達(dá)到教學(xué)要求后,可獲得本科畢業(yè)證書(shū)和工學(xué)學(xué)士學(xué)位證書(shū)。

New Energy Materials and Devices major was announced as one of the majors relevant to new strategic industries by Ministry of Education, in 2010. About ten colleges had been permitted to establish the new major in the nation. Material discipline of East China University of Science and Technology exhibit dominant position, hence our university was one of the first batch of colleges to establish the New Energy Materials and Devices major.
In 21st century, the requirement of energy was constantly increased. World economy growth raised more challenges to energy. Development of green energy materials and devices, was not only the generator of the developing national economy and technology, but the best solution for paradox among energy, economic development and environment protection. Now it had been fast and stable developing high-technology industry in the world. New energy materials were key materials for realization of new energy transform and utilization, and development of new energy technology. These materials included crystalline silicon, chalcogenide compound semiconductor, nanomaterials, dielectric materials, films, electrolyte materials, energy storage materials, etc. New energy devices were all sort of energy carriers of light, electricity, heat, power, which could be provided for human directly or through transform. New energy devices contained solar energy, wind energy, nuclear energy, biomass energy and other energy form storage devices. Besides the strategic position of national economy and technology development, the revolution and technology level of new energy materials and devices also had important impact on national security.
In recent years, our country had gotten remarkable achievements in new energy technology and industry, and with giant promotion space in future. However thing unmatched was insufficient relevant professional talents in new energy and materials. Thus students’ cultivate idea of this major was “solid foundation, wide routes”. Major direction was based on material science, with characteristics of semiconductor material technology, chemical electric source technology, solar cell technology, etc. To broaden students’ knowledge, train their practical skills and creative abilities, cultivate qualified and creative new energy science and technology development oriented talents, we set up major courses focused on the combining with basic theories and professional knowledge, science knowledge education and cultural quality education, theories and practices.
The major set up advanced mathematics, college physics, inorganic chemistry, organic chemistry, physical chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electronic engineering and others as basic and technical foundation courses, solid state physics, semiconductor physics, physical chemistry, materials structure and performance, electrochemical, introduction of new energy, transmission, (transfer process principle), the Earth's environment and resources, crystalline silicon solar cell process principle and experiment, lithium-ion battery principle and experiment and others as core courses. Experiments, scientific research training, factory internship, graduation project and graduation research and others are practical links. With bright employment prospects and a large number of further study opportunities, graduate students would enter enterprises in photonic voltage, chemical electric sources, energy management, semiconductor materials and devices fields, research institutions, colleges and universities.
Four years’ schooling for this major, after students met the requirement of teaching, undergraduate diploma and bachelor degree of engineering certificate were available.
